Ingredients

For the marinade

  • ½ tsp Paprika not smoked!
  • ½ tsp Ground Cumin
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ½ tsp Chilli Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper freshly ground
  • ½ tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ tbsp Tomato Purée
  • 1 tbsp Soft Brown Sugar
  • 1 splash Olive Oil

Add the pork!

  • 100 g Pork Fillet also known as tenderloin

Instructions

  • Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and mix well
  • Add the pork to the marinade, make sure it is well covered and marinate for at least 30 minutes, 1 hour is better
  • Pre-heat the oven to 180℃ fan, 200℃, gas mark 6. In a frying pan that can be put in the oven, add a splash of olive oil and fry the pork fillet over a high heat to seal on all sides (about 1 minute per side). Once browned, transfer to the oven for 8-10 minutes until cooked through
  • Once cooked, leave the pork to rest for 5 minutes whilst you prepare a simple salad to go with it and then carve. Serve with the salad and enjoy!
