Oak Smoked Salmon Pasta

We are not fans of smoked foods generally, but oak smoked salmon is an exception. The flaky chunks of salmon are delicious on their own but we wanted to ‘do’ something with it. This is what we came up with. We used conchiglie pasta (little ear shaped pasta shapes) but you could use any pasta that will hold the sauce. We use lactose free soft cheese because one of us is lactose intolerant but any soft cheese is good. It is a really simple dish but we rather like it!
