Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

There is nothing wrong with boiling Brussels sprouts (as long as they aren’t boiled to within an inch of their lives!) but if you want something different, this is a great way of cooking them.

Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 4 rashers Bacon back is best
  • 500 g Brussels Sprouts
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 ml Water

Instructions

  • Take the outer leaves off the Brussel sprouts and then slice each sprout into thee slices.
  • Chop the bacon so that it is in small pieces and then fry until crispy.
  • Add the Brussel sprouts and toss in the bacon until both are combined.
  • Add the butter and water and cook until the sprouts are cooked but still firm. Serve immediately!
