Lemon Iced Tea

Why is it difficult to buy lemon iced tea? There’s plenty of peach iced tea but what about the original lemon! This is a very simple, not too sweet, lemon iced tea recipe. Just serve with ice on a hot summer’s day.

Lemon Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 Tea bags
  • 70 g Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Lemons Juice
  • 1 Litre Water

Instructions

  • Put the two tea bags into a litre if boiling water. We use the tea bags that we used to make our cups of morning tea!
  • Add the sugar and stir to dissolve
  • Leave to cool, then remove the tea bags
  • Add the juice of the four lemons
  • Chill and consume within a couple of days. Shake or stir to mix and serve with ice
