Tzatziki

Tzatziki is a yoghurty, minty, Greek dip that is often served with pitta breads. We serve it with our chicken gyros, amongst other dishes. It is easy to make and worth having ready for that Greek meal.

Tzatziki

Ingredients

  • 100 g Greek Yoghurt
  • ΒΌ Cucumber halved, deseeded and coarsely grated
  • 1 clove Garlic grated
  • 10 Mint Leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Sprinkle the grated cucumber with a little salt to draw out the moisture. Leave for a few minutes for the salt to do its work. Squeeze out the cucumber getting rid of as much liquid as possible
  • Mix the cucumber with all the other ingredients and you have Tzatziki! That's how easy some cooking can be!
